The “Acceptable Shortfall” of Short-term Learning Events

We are working on addressing the “acceptable shortfall” of short term learning events (seminars) and the theories and processes available to make these potentially empowering venues. We must understand the current state of short term learning events within systems. Addressing issues such as individuals’ needs and fears, leadership and its pitfalls, individual pushback and benign effect, as well as real time constraints creating the façade of harmony.
